Terms of Service

The service

This app (app.ywamsj.org) is an internal management platform for YWAM San José, used to manage housing, schools, visiting teams, Homes of Hope builds, personnel, transportation, facilities, kitchen operations, and IT support. It is provided "as is," for the operational use of YWAM San José, its staff, program applicants, and visiting team leaders and members — it is not a commercial product offered to the general public.

Accounts and acceptable use

• Staff accounts, school applicant accounts, and team leader accounts each have their own sign-in process, described in our Privacy Policy.
• You agree to provide accurate, truthful information when creating an account or submitting an application, registration, or report.
• You agree not to attempt to access accounts, data, or areas of the system that are not authorized for your role.
• Accounts are for the individual they were issued to; do not share your login credentials.

Payments and donations

• Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Donations made to Youth With a Mission Costa Rica, our U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit entity, are generally tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law; a receipt is issued for each donation.
• Program fees (for example, school tuition or team trip costs) are due per the terms of the applicable registration agreement you complete when applying or registering.
• Refunds are handled case-by-case — please contact the relevant program office (school admissions, team coordination, or Homes of Hope, as applicable) to request one.

Intellectual property

The app's design, code, and content are the property of YWAM San José / Youth With a Mission Costa Rica / CIMEC, except for content you submit yourself (for example, photos, reports, or application materials), which remains yours but may be used by us for the operational purposes described in the Privacy Policy.

No warranty; limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, YWAM San José, Youth With a Mission Costa Rica, and CIMEC are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing entities

This platform is operated on behalf of:

• Youth With a Mission Costa Rica — a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation.
• CIMEC — a Costa Rican legal entity, operating locally as YWAM San José.
